Pearls From the New Testament

Matthew 5:11,12

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Satan will always provoke others to persecution where there is truth. He does not want righteousness to prevail, but good always overcomes evil, and always will.
I read an interesting thought the other day. It said that every prophet or great man has much persecution before he is called to do his work. It is the testing of his mettle to see if he can handle what lies before him.

the really sad part is that if people tell LDS they are wrong you simply chalk it up to being persecuted. Yet you guys willing ignore the fact that JS and BY and other LDS prophets attacked us christians first, Killed people and tried tearing down our faith. Funny how you guys ignore those facts and simply stick your head in the sand.

Then you ignore the Bible where it talks about false prophets and exposing them. You guys run from that, then you wonder why we question you guys. Rick b
