Oh, I wish I'd remembered that quote for my lesson on Sunday. I really like it. Thanks for sharing!
I like the Biblical notion that we are to live our lives in obedience to God, but somehow get annoyed with those who say we live our lives in "surrender" to God, as if he is an enemy who conquered us rather than our heavenly father. But perhaps rather than complaining about "surrender", I should redirect to "obedience".
